MY FRIEND DANDU

Our friendship started through my mom & a phone call,

We shared same class; same lab but still dint knew each other,

& hardly had it bothered!

Finally after a month we met on FB & a chat help our friendship grew.

From then it started and many ups and downs it went threw.

“kaisa tha paper” was your first question when we first talked face to face during internals.

After that our talks never had any end.

First year of our friendship was so much fun,

Students of the year:  The first movie with you

And you were late at that time too.

I miss the time spended in Amphi, it was our patented place.

And it was the privilege of our friendship to talk nonsense and have the nonsense respected.

My 18^th but first Birthday with you, you all made it so special,

surprise at home # Ajinkya # cake # Balloons # Dumshalas # Havda bridge pe latki lassh # pav bhaji # Ice cream # many more… it was the best day.

Your birthday brought lots of surprises for you,

Sorry we kept you out of house on that day of your fasting,

But we needed that time to decorate your room with all your photos and making scrap book.

Your “O shit!” was so popular on that day.

S.Y. went in classroom and lectures,

And yes in lab too.

Honors # RCF # Ramteke: can never forget that interview and first day of RCF # lost paper # scared we # so much tension.

But we enjoyed those moments too.

The face you made just to scare me during Horror movie I still remember,

Time at Marine, Pune I. V. late night talks, shopping was so much fun.

And the way you shouted while watching Anabella,

We all were just about to run.

T.Y. was our last year of college, and it ended so soon.

Least bothered of studies, all got busy in their love game.

Many things changed in between but one thing remained the same,

That was our bond which grew stronger again.

And it will flourish day by day,

M sure by now that you won’t stop troubling me on our friendship way.

You were always there with me in my bad times,

Irritating me with your jokes,

Trying hard to make me smile.

You were always there when I need a hand to hold,

Ear to listen,

And heart to understand.

You were always there when I need someone to shout on,

You tolerated my worst mood swings,

You made me laugh,

Laugh a little louder when I felt low.

You made me smile,

Smile a little brighter when I was sad.

You made me live a little better,

Better than what I lived before!

And I know you are, will be always there when I need YOU.
