Birthdays are the joyful and precious moment that everyone wishes to be celebrated and look for some gift by their dear ones. On your birthday instead of giving you toys, favda, livon hair gain, chocolates; I thought of gifting you a memorable poem whose taste can be relished anytime anywhere anyhow like your tummy.

I sit alone thinking of you,

To start up with a poetic dish

Difficulties were enormous to find the best spices for U

But anything for an amazing U

I dreamed of a friend just like you

And finally my dream came true.

I still remember the first day I met a mom

Fortunately her daughter was in same class as that of mine.

Hurried for job taking my number

And there's come a call named Harsha

With a sweet numb voice

Asking for when the college would start?

Listening to me, she ended the call.

College started,

But never knew who she was among all girls

Since that call we never talked nor we met

For 2-3 months

Shyness never let us talk during college

But somehow we managed because of our dearest (Nishant)

And tab apne ACCHE DIN AA GAYE.. :p

Our friendship started our never ending journey

And made our relation sweet like honey.

The call conversation seemed so weird.

Its funny to think back to that time

Never thought our friendship would gear.

I never knew that behind a sweet numb voice

There's a devil, bhukkad girl.

They say that true friendship is rare

And that I believe to be true.

Genuine friendship is something that I cherish

I am so lucky to have met you.

Our bond is extremely special

It's unique in its own way.

Coming to college and chilling at our addas

Was preferred than boring lectures

Dominoes and Mc.D and canteen seemed your home

And never allowed your Favda to rest

Lectures never seemed boring because of your songs

Scribbling on my book was your favourite study.

Your "bhuk lagi hai" always rocked

Made me Bhukkhad like U.

Triple Schezwan Rice, Idli, kulfi, pizza and what not 

Were attacked by us

Our Bataaaaaattttaaaaaa Waaaddddaaaa was the best song.

You are my Favda and I am your Extension.

We sign our cards and letters Bffs

You got a million ways to make me laugh

You're looking for me

You've got my back

So good to have you around

You know the secrets I could never tell

And when I'm quiet U break through my shell

Don't feel a need to rebel yell

Coz you keep my feet on the ground

You are a true best friend

And you're here till the end

Am your handle of train

Your takla is my tabla

We make a perfect bhukkhad buddies

"Kisi ko mat bolna"

Doesn't exist between us

Coz hum end mein pachak he dete hai :P

You pull me aside

When something ain't right

Talk with me now and into the night

Till its all right
But U tell me everything last

All the things we have been through,

All the goods & bads; fights & taunts

Ended in a single day.

You are my soul mate, my very best friend

And I know you'll be there till the end

You understand a side of me

That no one else could ever see

You know whats wrong before I cry

But if I do, you will always know why.

I know this ain't enough

for a friend like u, But lastly

Wishing you 12 months of happiness,
