At Night..

"It's time to sleep"...
 it murmurs,
" Come your body need some peace."
My bed is calling me,
It wants me to take rest.
But my Heart is still active,
It wants to put itself to test.

My eyes are tired,
They worked the whole day.
Eyelashes wants to cuddle each other,
It's time for them to meet their best-mate.
But my mind wants to stay awake,
It wants to spend some quality time,
It wants to explore it's way.

My Ears demand some change,
They are bored of the daily noise.
They want to hear a romantic song,
It's time for the earphones to take their actual place. 

By now my eyes are forced to do overtime,
So they are busy gazing at the stars,
Wondering why they are so far.
Mind starts influencing powers to make images out of them,
And now they can see a small kid trying a tree climb.  

At midnight, My mind wants to write,
It wants my heart to help,
They both work in unity,
To make a beautiful rhyme.

The silence at night is so pleasing,
You completely owe that time,
Staring at the wall, looking out on empty roads or just playing with the wind chime.  

I wish the time stops here,
I want to spend some more alone time,
I wish the clock stops.
I wish the sun never pops. 

But soon the sun will be up,
Spreading its shine,
And I have to wait again 24 hours,
For the time which is mine..!
